My name is Muna Dahir, and I am a Ph.D. student in Gender Studies at Queen's University, where I also completed my MA. Working with the Abolitionist Dream-Mappers (ADM) on this project has been an incredibly rich experience for me. We started this project imagining how we might map our abolitionist dreams through practices of storytelling. We worked through complex ideas of narration, relationality, and dreaming. This dream has since yielded the seeds of ongoing collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and collective care. I am deeply moved by these gifts from my fellow collaborators and will always cherish their lessons on learning, working, and imagining towards realizing our collective freedom dreams.
