Tianna Edwards (She/Her)
Tianna is a part-time Masters student in Cultural Studies. Her final project
will be a podcast on the Black experience in Kingston/Kataorawi. She's felt honoured to spend the last few months learning from her Abolition Dream Mapping peers. This group has meant more to her than the curation of this final website product. This time has made her reflect on the land she inhabits and the community she lives in and her responsibility in dismantling the colonial systems entrenched in it. How that is sometimes just being open
and sharing and listening. It's made her reflect on her own work and presence in the community through the lens of abolition. Her contribution to this project is a reflection of her life as a Black woman in a colonial space, taking up space and looking for others to grow with.
